Special features of the organization

PRAYAS is a NGO registered under the Societies Registration Act 1880 of XXI .It was started in the year 2009 by some educated enthusiastic youths to serve society. The reason behind establishment of this organization was to work for the betterment of the underprivileged of the society. Right from its inception the society is working in upper Assam region for the economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged, so that they become educated, skilled and aware. Prayas focuses on applying knowledge for action so that one can pursue a better and smarter opportunity in life within the sphere of limited resources available
