PATULI MAHILA UDDYOG SAMITY

Patuli Mahila Uddyog Samity was Established in 1993 as non-profitable Voluntary organization which was fully organised by women with the mission to eradicate social evils comprising of iliteracy, Low income, human traffiking and other social and economic disparities with the help of NABARD, we started formation of SHGs mainly Constituted with poor women is rural areas.So far 633no of SHGs had been formed and 253no of SHGs had been credit linked. The SHGs are built, formed, Nurtured and credit linked with financial Institutions. In addition of formation of SHGs skill and capacity building training are also given for undertaking economic activities for their livelihood development. , As the groups were facing difficulties for having loans from banks we are acting as MFI since 2001 and now the oustanding balance is Rs.82.17 Lakhs in Agricultural Cash Credit and Rs.131.59 Lakhs in Sahayog Niwas(Rural Housing Loan). , This year we have started working as Business Correspondent of SBI with the target to open customer service point where savings Bank A/c to be opened in Zero Balance. Other term deposit A/c such as F.D/R.D etc. will also be opened there in future. We have the opportunity to open service point throughout the Nadia District. , We had established one Child labour school under National Child Labour Project (Govt. of India) at Hanskhali in 2006 and another 4 schools had been opened this year. All together 5 such schools are running. , Organised effort to check human traffiking, literacy campain and active participation for eradication of literacy through SHGs members are also being done.
