Panskura Banamali College

To carter to the escalating demands for higher education within the easy reach of the students who came of their schools but failed to get admitted in college located only at distant district headquarter or sub-divisional towns owing to their parents financial position or lack of facilities for communication, Panskura Banamali College came into existence Since its inception, the institution has been tirelessly functioning to realize the vision of its legendary donors by empowering the socially and economically marginalized classes of a backward district populated by a large number of schedule castes and tribes, offering them scopes for quality education and helping them to achieve excellence in the domain of higher education. Through the hard work and sincere efforts of all associated with it the college has not only occupied a remarkable status of one of the biggest colleges in West Bengal but has made substantial contribution to the inclusive growth of the local community through socio-economic change and sustainable development. We have 25 UG Departments, 8 PG departments in addition to B.Ed and B.P.Ed. Recently this college has been re accredited by NAAC with A grade (3.11). This college is a government-aided college under Vidyasagar University.
