Navoday Society for scientific advancement and rehabilitation

Navoday Society started with the intention of providing free medical tests and consultation to the poor and the needy and since 2005 we have provided free medical services, consultation and investigations not only to patients of Kolkata and adjoining areas but also to patients as far as Bankura district (Jangalmahal) and Sundarban. We hold free camps regularly within Kolkata and thus far we have served over 1500 patients. We have also been associated with a few other charitable organisations like Dakhineshwar Ramkrishna Sangha Adayapith Behala Branch, Lions Club and Arjyo Samiti in Behala, where we have participated in similar medical camps. Our vision is to provide and support the poor and the down trodden in whichever way we can, including providing medical and dental services, shelter and food and in extremely difficult situation to extend financial help as well. We are also involved on an ongoing project of Road Safety Awareness in Kolkata. We have recently been certified for exemption u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act.
