Natyaranga has been pursuing theatre as a mission and has remained committed to the social responsibilities that this genre incorporates. All the while we have tried to explore different avenues of this performing art Our important productions are ABHAGIR SWARGA BIRSAMUNDA TENTULGACH BITHAN AATMAKATHA GHARE BAIRE SIRAJUDDAULA SAJAHAN AGANTUK DENA PAONA BJARER LADAI BASANA SAFALYA DADU CHAY NATI CHAY and BINODINI KATHA The Awards conferred on us Paschim Banga Natya Akademi award for AATMAKATHA in 1999 Best playwright award for AATMAKATHA Festivals we participated in National School Of Dramas BHARAT RANG MAHOTSAV twice with SAJAHAN and AGANTUK Nandikars National Theatre Festival twice with BASANA and SAJAHAN EZCCs Multilingual Theatre Festival twice with AATMAKATHA and SIRAJUDDAULA EZCC and SATABDIRA KALAKARAs Theatre Festival at Bhubaneswar with Tagores GHARE BAIRE Participated four times in Paschimbanga Natya Akademis Natyamela with SIRAUDDAULA SAJAHAN DENA PAONA DADU CHAY NATI CHAY We organised Theatre Festivals in 1983 1991 1999 and Nandikar Chetana Shudrak Anya Theatre Nandimukh Theatre Workshop participated in those Festivals We are going to organise a five-day long Theatre Festival at Girish Mancha from 9th Dec 2010 to 13th Dec 2010 Nandikar Sayak Swapnasandhani Kalindi Bratyajan and Natyaranga will participate in it We humbly offered felicitation to Tapas Sen Soumitra Chattopadhyay Bibhas Chakraborty Rudra Prasad Sengupta Debasis Majumda Murari Roychoudhury We have been consistently bringing out commemorative volumes since 1980 till date We organise Workshops regularly to groom young talents.
