An effort that started 18 years ago to sensitize women in the field of handicrafts has now evolved into one of the most prestigious NGO of Dehradun and vicinity. Since then we have been instrumental in conducting quality training programs for women in the field of handicrafts in textile sector. , , Block Printing, Hand Embroidery and Stitching are the expertise of the organization which is being passed on to its trainees through extensive Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programs (ESDPs) in Fashion Designing. , , Kamla Mahila Handicraft Udyog Avm Vikas Society , , Have been working in association with the institutions like NABARD, DC(H), DIC, KVIB, KVIC (PRODIP), IIE, NIESBUD. , Empanelled as Udyami Mitra under category 3 by ministry of MSME in March 2011, under Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitra Yojna (RGUMY). , Have been engaged in SHGs formation through NABARD and self finance as well. These SHGs are working independently and also in various departments of the state governments. , Participated in Australian International Sourcing Fair at Sydney Exhibition Center, Australia, in 2012, sponsored by KVIC. , Have been working on revival and promotion of the traditional Aipan art of Uttarakhand through textile & merchandise. Showcased the same through Miss Uttarakhand Fashion Show in the year 2006. , Provides trainings through Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programs on Fashion Designing and also conducts Entrepreneurship Development Workshops in various educational institutes as well. , Sale final products through its Head-office, web portal www.tweakart.com and also through participation in various exhibitions, trade fairs etc. to encourage trainees. , Executing 100 SHG Project from NABARD in Block Siyana Distt Buland Shahar (UP)
