Special features of the organization

Jalpaiguri Women & Child Welfare Society is a non-government Organization, established in 2007 with a mandate to improve the lives of women and children belonging to marginalized community in West Bengal. The main focus of JWCWS is primarily on education and health. The organization is dedicated to create a better place for children belonging to marginalized community by creating friendly platform for overall development of a child. , Following activities are being carried out by the organization at their coverage areas: , Health Awareness Camp. , Awareness on Environment (save our planet). , Awareness generation programme on Child Labour. , Relief Programme. , Vocational training for Women. , Non Formal educational Center at Tea Gardens, Jalpaiguri District. , Bringing Changes drastically is not so easy as we deal with humans from diversified backgrounds but lots of changes happened due to our presence at grassroots levels. Sensitization at community level happened to some extent. Parents showing interests and working as volunteer. A long way to go and we are dedicated to work for the betterment of women and Children in our Society.
