our society also register under PwD Act-1995. , Our activity: Swapnatoran ( Handicraft Institute for Physically Challenged):- , Presently 25 deaf & dumb person are taking training of making handicraft products at the house of the Secretary of the Society and which fully free and also without Aid of any of the Govt. and/or Pvt. Sectors in any manner whatsoever. , Titir S.H.G (A Grpup Of Physically Challenged.) The manufactured products of Swapnatoran Welfare Society are being sold by this self help group (A Group of physically challenged. Reg. no.EM/II/1900211824).in various fair and by this act the accumulated fund use to distribute amogst these people towards their act of creation and also to boost up themselves. , Artisans identity Card Creation: Our society provides training to these specially abled people to make them technical in the field of handicraft and also sees to it that they are being recognized by the DC Handicraft(Ministry of Textie), Small Scale Industries, Govt. of India and till date 8 of them are being recognized by the Govt. of India and all of them were handed over their applicable identity card for their future. , Open Education Centre: , The foremost impedoment for the deaf & dumb is their short off words which is why they are being provided with special education system which takes place everyday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. , Educational voyage:- To impart practical application of life, every Sunday These people are being taken out to various places, such as Station, Market, Park, Ashram etc. to increase their stock of word and expression. , Free Educational Centre:- Through this all the other specially abled people of the society are being given free education. Presently only 5 no. of these students could be provided with this facility. , Free Repairing of Hearing Aid:- The hearing impaired people are being provided with their hearing aid and at times the society also gets the hearing aid repaired for these people free of cost. , Information Regarding Various Schemes run by the Govornment:- Our Society also assists these specially abled people by providing necessary information regarding how to get proper identity card, and als how to go forward to get other assistance from the Govt. authorities from time to time. , Discussion Forum with Parents:- Our Society also arrange meeting with the parents of these specially abled peopleon every last Sunday of every month where the entire facts regarding the health, mental fitness and other facts are being discussed. , , In this year our society awarded by state govt. of west bengal in the category of outstanding institution for its endeavor to train the person with disabilities in handicrafts & cottage industries and make them self-employed. we runing our work with out any govt.& non govt. fund. for better work we want grant.
