Indrayudh

Indrayudh of Cooch Behar, a famous theatre group was formed on the 8th June, 1974 under the government registration No. S/IL/12629. As Rome was not built in a day , Indrayudh was not built in a day also. There was much ups and down - but the dedication ,determination , and dicipline alongwith sincierity has brought the success during the last 37 years. At present Indrayudh has staged 71 dramas with the achievement of 856 shows . The fame of Indrayudh not only spread in West Bengal but its fame has been spread in the state of U.P, M.P, Assam , Orrissa, and Nagaland .Indrayudh also successfully staged their drama program there . So far the group theatre movement in concern , Indrayudh holding the flag of the same , taking the leading part. Indrayudh has won number of prizes in several drama competition in defferent times . This performances were made in local drama competition , in Kolkata and in the other state. Indrayudh has organized drama festivals where leading thetre group of Bangladesh chokh had participated . apart from that the leading theatrical teams of Kolkata as well as other district of W.B with there eminent artist has staged their drama on the invitation of Indrayudh in time to time.
