Special features of the organization

HIHT-RDI has implemented more than 75 projects and benefitted estimated 2 million people from 2000 rural communities of Uttarakhand. The Institute has contributed in maternal and child health and served a basic package of comprehensive health services to 2 lakh eligible women, 2 lakh adolescents and over 19000 children. Safe drinking water has been provided to over 450 villages and 14000 toilets have been constructed in remote villages of Uttarakhand. Over 5000 benefitted during COVID pandemic.
