Hasiru Dala is a non-profit organization works with wastepickers in Bangalore, Mysore, Chamarajnagar, Tumkur and few smaller cities in Karnataka. Hasiru Dala strives to integrate wastepickers into the solid waste management framework by utilizing their expertise in the domain. Initiated in November 2013, Hasiru Dala now has a membership of over 7500 waste picker and focuses on enabling access to social security benefits to improve their quality of life, which includes procuring govt. ID cards
