Educating more than 100 underprivileged students for over a decade. Organising since the last 26 years, the Phoolpati Shobayatra, an annual cultural programme held during Durga Puja. Hosting literary seminars annually by including regional and international literary luminaries. Raising funds during times of natural calamities (2001 Indian Ocean tsunami disaster, Pulbazar, Darjeeling bridge collapse, Prime Minister relief fund during the Kargil crisis, 2015 Nepal earthquake)
