Green Foundation

Green Foundation is working for promotion of national integration and nation building work through its diverse programmes and activities particularly through intellectual meet, seminars on relevant subjects. The society is engaged in organising centenary celebrations programmes of important personalities and the events aims to carry forward their contribution to the present generations. The society also regularly organises developmental activities and awareness generation programmes on important subjects like human rights and Right to Information and sustainable development. The society is consistently engaged in celebrating and oraganising activities and programmes on the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the country promoting secularism, communal harmony and strengthening national integration. The society undertakes programmes and activities for the empowerment of women and for the welfare of children, Dalit and minorities and other socially excluded classes in the society. Other important activities of the society are commitments in realm of education, besides, public health, protection of environment and the society is engaged in holding seminars and workshops, group discussions and awareness campaigns and through its various programmes tries to bridge gaps between diverse groups and cultures. It endeavours to arouse and educate public opinion on important issues of human concerns and bases its programmes along similar lines in order to bring changes in society along direction of peace and development, a prime requisite for building a better nation and realisation of dreams of our freedom fighters who bequeathed to us a secular, democratic and independent India.
