Gram Swarajya Mandal , Someshwar is working since 41 years in , the field of Rural Department and social awareness. Since beginning our prime motto is , promote village industry. , Our society is working in various fields, which is given blow , (1)Swap Program :- , Our Organization have 80 villages in District Almora for the planning, , survey and implementation phase in Swap program. In this program we do community awarness, , CAP, HESA program. We are doing survey and making estimate for water scheme of these , G.P(Gram Panchayat). , We have completed Pre Feasibility Report (PFR) of 36 villages for jal , nigam Almora in which we give total detail of these Gram Panchayat. , In Swap program of Jal Nigam Almora, we are making estimate for water , supply scheme in 27 villages. , As total, we have 98 Gram Panchayat in District Almora in Swap Program. , (2) Sanitation Work :- , Our organization is working currently in 48 Gram Panchayat in four different , block in Almora district in total sanitation program of Swajal. , In this program our organization motivates the GP for cleaning their houses , and motivate the GP to make toilet in every house. We are giving them information of current , government schemes and funds for them for total sanitation. By our efforts we made Eight Gram , Panchayat Nirmal Gram. , (3)Kosi Priyojana :- , Our organization is working for prevention of Kosi river from last five years.In , this program we motivate the people to make efforts to prevent kosi. For this a movement named , Kosi Bachao Andolan as held by us with the help of other supporting organization. , (4) Environment Conservation:- , We are working as a partner society of national Environment awareness , program since last 10 years in which the awareness activities and action component is , implemented. , (5) Awareness Program :- , Our organization is working many awareness program as Environment , awareness, Agriculture awareness, Health awareness and Educational awareness. , (6) Village industry :- , We have a spices unit and a turpentine and resin unit , - In spices unit we parches spices from local farmers. We also give them training of advance , farming with scientific method. , (7) Working with NABARD:- , Our organization is also working with NABARD by forming Kisaan Club in , Rural areas. We also work with S.H.G. in District Almora. , (8)Working with NCSTC (DST):- , organization is working in 16 villages to train them for Eco Jal- Sakcharta, Eco Eureka. , (9)Working with DSTO:- , Our organization is working with Innovative Project for masons(Rajmistri), in almora district.
