Promoted 10,000 People Action Groups and Women Action Groups in 7 states of India, ( West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Jharkhand. Strengthened 5,000 Small Action Groups in seven states of India- West Bengal, Behar, Orissa, Assam, Tripura, Jharkhand and Manipur.Trained 500 youths of West Bengal & Sikim State in Rural Entrepreneurship development programme with the support of KVIC, NABARD, SIDBI and EDI Amadabad. Running AHVY ( Baba Ambedkar Hastashilp Vikash Yogana) under the Ministry of Textiles ( Development Commissioner, Handicrafts), Govt. of India at South Dinajpur District for skill upgradation Prog for 600 Rural Women. Trained 10000 Health workers for RCH and ASHA, STD/ HIV/ AIDS Prog of Govt. of India s Health Scheme and NACO Programme in West Bengal. Promoted 4,000 SHG ( Self Help Groups) in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam. Running Innovative Project for 350 Street Food Vendors in Kolkata sponsored by INNOAID, Denmark Imparted Vocational Training to more than 5,000 people (Male & Female) in West Bengal and Jharkhand on different items like Jute ( NCJD), Cutting, Weaving Embroidery, T.V., Tape Recorder Repairing, Fabric, Knitting, Printing, Mora making , Poultry, Carpentry, Type writing, Alta, Phenol , Insence stick ( KVIC) Mushroom production/ Orissa, card making etc. More than Rural Artisans ( 15,000) got marketing support from us and marketed their products through shop, Mela ( CAPART sponsored). Covering a large number of CSW/ Truckers/ Helpers through Youth generation, Mother & Child awareness generation programmes on burning issues like STD/ HIV/ AIDS, Pulse Polio, Child Marriage, Child Labour prohibition, Human Rights etc in 7 states of West Bengal supported by NACO/ UNICEF, Dept of Social Welfare. Providing Short term support on rehabilitation towards 30 inmates in a batch through a Short Stay Home since 1998 to till date with the support of Central Social Welfare Board. Providing all round development support to 500 Street Children including ( in a batch) Child Labour and slum dwellers since 1993 with the support of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. Presently Running Open Shelter for Boys(25) under Integrated Child Protection Scheme ( ICPS). Promoted a National level Network to protect Human Rights of Women called Nari Adhikar Raksha Samannaya Samity . Established a 6 beded Mother and child care unit in West Bengal with all pathological, X-Ray, Ambulance facility. Established an Ashram in the name of Mahatma Gandhi in Jharkhand for undertaking demonstrative project and all round development project of the village poor people. Established a Training cum-one night shelter in Kolkata for the destitute women. Published lot of Books, Journals/ Pamphlet, Flipcharts, Leaflet on socio-economic, Health and legal issues. Made Cassettes on gender/ STD/ HIV/ AIDS issue. Trained 25,000 people on Community Based Disaster Preparedness supported by UNICEF. 1 Lakh Number of trees planted through our Social Forestry Programme. Providing relevant counseling ( on line) to destitute Women through 24 hour on line services supported by Ministry of Women & Children Dept. Conducting issue based Need Assessment/ Baseline Survey/ Mid-line assessment/ Fact finding on witch crafts/ violence against women & children in 3 states of India.
