Special features of the organization

Conduct research on biodiversity, climate change including hazards, fisheries and socioeconomics of estuaries and coasts. Priority research location is the Ganges estuary and the Indian Sundarban. Also focuses on Gulf of Oman, coasts of Uruguay, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand. Welcomes undergraduate to Phd student research and promotes culture of coastal and quantitative research.The foundation is a member of United Nation Ocean Decade Global Stakeholder Forum for meeting SDG14 goal.
