Special features of the organization
A.Legal Awareness Programme organised with financial assistance from the National Commission from Women. Legal Awareness Programme was organised in Murshidabad District in West Bengal with financial assistance from the National Commission from Women in 2014-15. NCW provided a financial assistance of Rs. 200000. Organised at Venue: Talgram on 14th and 15th February 2015. The objective of the Legal Awareness Programme (LAP) was to empower women and girls with the knowledge of the laws related to women, legal rights and duties, to enable them, to share power equally, gain full access to the means of development, and to inspire a whole generation of women to work together towards achieving equality and justice. , B. Food Packet Distribution to Widows with Donation from Orphans in Need. Food Packets were distributed to widows with donation from Orphans in Need. In the year 2014-15, Orphans in Need provided a donation of Rs. 210000 to Bharatpur Conija Handicap School. , C. Mid Day Meal Expenditure. Mid Day Meal is provided at Bharatpur Conija Handicap School. Education facility is provided to approx 100 Disabled Children. Bharatpur Conija Handicap School is working for the Disabled Children and very poor people of the community. We started a School for Physically Handicapped Children and we are also working for mentally retired children, who are mentally challenged and handicapped. An expenditure of Rs. 119300 was made on Mid Day Meal in 2014-15. , D. Find Out Disabled Children Program , Every year, we organise Disabled Children Programme. Through Community Survey, every year our organization finds 25 disabled children. We provide Education facility to approx 100 Disabled Children. Bharatpur Conija Handicap School is working for the Disabled Children and very poor people of the community. We started a School for Physically Handicapped Children and we are also working for mentally retired children, who are mentally challenged and handicapped. Student assessments are implemented throughout the year to evaluate continued enrolment in this program.
