Behala Srijan

Behala Srijan is registered non-profit organization, provides financial support to children of underprivileged families of Sunderban area from Primary to Higher Secondary level. One of such child Monalisa Das of Sonagaon, Sunderbans, has achieved good performance in studies after taking tuition guides supported by behala SRIJAN. Behala SRIJAN also donated study materials to underprivileged children gathered and brought by Tiljala SHED of Kolkata and FPSA-FRIENDS OF POOR & SOCIALLY ABANDONED from Bankura. , It focuses on the propagation of Indian Traditional Music and promotes the talented artists of music and art by providing them a proper platform of performance and felicitating the legendary musicians to enable the cultural exchange of the eminent musicians with the young talents of the present generation. Some of such programmes were staged at Sisir Manch, Kolkata (10th March, 2014) and ICCR, Kolkata (28th July & 4th Nov, 2014). At present behala SRIJAN is now arranging such programmes at some other districts of West Bengal like South and North 24 Parganas, Howrah and Bankura. , It also supports the artisans of remote area to keep their crafts and craftsmanship skill alive.
