Special features of the organization

Barrackpore Sahayogi Social Welfare Society was formed in the year 1995 with an aim to help the economically and socially under previledged masses. We started with organising awareness camps on eradication of social evils and educatng people for their well being. We also planted hundreds of trees by the side of B.T.Road as well as the river side road.Subsiquently we have been organised skill development training programmes on handicraft items, food processing, medicinal plants, computer hardware & software, IT , mass communication etc. We have been empanelled by NIESBUD under the Skill Development Ministry as a training partner. Besides we also work on consumer affairs, women labours, unemployed youths, SHGs, farmers and school children. Every year we also organised health related camps.
