ANJALI

Anjali was founded by a doctor & his microbiologist wife with intentions of utilising their skills & capabalities for the poor & needy. The activities of Anjali started in 1989 in a rented two room clinic which took shape of a 30 bed rural hospital within four years in a 3.5 acre land donated by a local resident. Staff quarters & Center for community based development action were added in phases and hospital extended to 50 beds with new operation theatres including a seperate ophthalmic operation theatre. The organisation was given Ashok Gondhia Award for medical services by Young Mens Gandhian Association in year in the year 1996.Presently along with 50 bed Anjali Hospital in village Ranasan a womens programm is another major activity in 42 surrounding interior villages. Anjali was appointed service NGO ( SNGO) under service NGO scheme of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Water conservation in form of developing water bodies is under taken since last seven years. Tree plantation is another programm which was added five years back. Youth & children activities including education, sports , vocational guidance ,tutorials ,awareness generation and making them competitive etc.
