Ninety-nine per cent of Old-Aged persons in Dimapur (a metropolitan city) has been identified and their data has been maintained and shared with the Department of Social Welfare, Govt of Nagaland. While collecting the data, they were duly informed of the Central and State Government schemes that are in place for Old Aged people and awareness programmes and seminars are conducted for them so that they are not neglected but bringing to the main fold.
