About Job Profile

Support and office management

The consultant will have the required level of degree in agricultural economics, economics, or a relevant discipline in Finance to support the “Inclusive and Sustainable Bamboo Value Chain Development in Northeastern India” and should have 10 years of relevant experience in investment projects of International Funding opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities include

 

  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates and financing plan in cooperation with the financial expert.
  • Assess the macroeconomic and sector contexts.
  • Assess demand for project outputs.
  • Astablish economic rationale of public sector involvement.
  • Assess least-cost investment options.
  • Conduct project economic cost–benefit analysis.
  • Assess financial and institutional sustainability.
  • Conduct a distribution analysis.
  • Conduct sensitivity and risk analyses.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Ability and familiarity working with ADB / WB / IFAD-funded projects will be a preference.
  • The consultant should have worked in a minimum of one international development sector funding project.
  • Experience in the Bamboo or Natural Resource Management sector will be highly preferred.
