The candidate is expected to support policy research, advocacy, communication and capacity building around the programme. The job will entail but not limited to

• Researching and writing for policy papers;
• Travelling for ground surveys, meetings, workshops and similar activities;
• Developing strategies for various environmental issues;
• Reporting developments on relevant issues in CSE’s magazine Down To Earth;
• Interacting with stakeholders such as policy makers, regulators, media, industry, civil society organizations;
• Participating in relevant conferences, workshops

Conducting capacity building programmes for various stakeholders;
The candidate should be open to extensive travelwherever required.The candidate should have strong research and analytical skills along with a flair for writing both technical reports and articles. The candidate should be hard working, self-motivated and disciplined.
 

The candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with Masters degree in environment / other engineering backgrounds with an experience of working in the field of environment and understanding of industrial issues can apply.
