New Delhi, April 4, 2024: Shanti Mukand Hospital (SMH) in association with Akila Bharatha Mahila Seva Samaja (ABMSS) has inaugurated a Comprehensive Care Services Facility under which it will offer free surgeries for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds suffering from cleft lip and palate across North India.

During the inauguration ceremony, Dr Ravi Kant Singh from Shanti Mukand Hospital expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "This initiative embodies our commitment to serving the community and ensuring that every child, regardless of their financial status, receives the care they deserve. We are proud to collaborate with ABMSS in this noble endeavour."

Cleft Lip and Palate is a prevalent congenital condition, impacting not only physical health but also causing mental and social challenges, particularly among those who cannot afford the cost of treatment. Together, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families, empowering them to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives."
