Magic Bus India Foundation marks 25 years of impactful service

Mumbai, February 21, 2024: Magic Bus India Foundation celebrated its 25th Foundation Day, highlighting a quarter-century of dedicated service. Over the past two and a half decades, the organization has focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through life skills education and employability training.

Magic Bus now operates in 24 states across India, impacting numerous communities. In the 2023-24 period alone, it reached 18 lakh adolescents, providing them with essential life skills for academic, personal, and professional success. Moreover, over 1 lakh youth have been placed in jobs, equipped with transferable skills for sustainable livelihoods.

Looking forward, Magic Bus aims to empower over 80 lakh young people in the next three years, continuing its commitment to enabling first-time learners and earners.

In 2023, Magic Bus achieved several milestones, including partnerships with six state governments to implement life skills education in schools and collaboration with the MEPSC to empower marginalized youth through skill development programs. The organization also enhanced its operations with initiatives like the Fraud Prevention and Detection team, the Partner Connect Portal, and the Future X platform for livelihood program management.

Furthermore, Magic Bus received recognition for its pedagogy, securing a place among HundrED's top 100 educational innovations worldwide and earning the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice. It also attained the Great Place to Work certification for three consecutive years.

The 25th-anniversary celebrations brought together over 3,000 employees and their families for sports and games, promoting inclusivity with equal participation from both male and female employees.
