New Delhi, February 12, 2024: Eco Mobility, a leading car rental service provider in India, has undertaken a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the safety and preparedness of its driver partners. Over the course of several sessions conducted across key cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Bangalore, more than 250 driver partners were provided with training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

In collaboration with esteemed healthcare providers such as Fortis Hospital (Delhi), Sparsh Hospital (Bangalore), NHSRCC Children’s Hospital (Mumbai), and CK Birla Hospital (Gurgaon), Eco Mobility organized hour-long training sessions facilitated by qualified medical professionals. These sessions covered a wide range of essential topics crucial for responding effectively to medical emergencies.

The CPR training program included instruction on recognizing symptoms of cardiac arrest, proper administration of chest compressions, techniques for airway stabilization, delivering rescue breaths, utilization of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and correct recovery positioning. Through interactive sessions and hands-on simulations, driver partners gained practical knowledge and skills that are vital for providing immediate assistance in critical situations.

Eco Mobility's commitment to the safety and well-being of its customers is evident in the implementation of this initiative. By equipping driver partners with life-saving CPR training, the company aims to create a safer and more secure riding experience for passengers. This initiative reflects Eco Mobility's dedication to fostering a culture of preparedness and responsiveness among its workforce.

Talking about the initiative, Rajesh Loomba, Managing Director, Eco Mobility, said, “Eco Mobility has been running several training programs for our driver partners for nearly a decade. It has helped our driver partners in being better equipped to handle emergencies as well as our long-standing clients in trusting and choosing us as a preferred partner. This round of CPR training, which concluded in four cities, is going to be extended further to the rest of the country. We believe that by equipping our driver partners with the essential skills of CPR, we empower them to act as first responders in emergencies and contribute to a safer travel experience for the customers. This training program aligns perfectly with our core values of safety, reliability, and trust.”

Accordingly to the officials of Eco Mobility, it also plans to extend the CPR training program to additional cities and departments.
