AISATS marks 100th Robotic Aircraft Exterior Cleaning milestone with Vistara

New Delhi, October 12, 2023: Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS), a prominent player in airport services management, celebrated its 100th Robotic Aircraft Exterior Cleaning for Vistara at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on October 11, 2023, using the automated aircraft cleaning service 'AeroWash.' Launched in June 2023, this service is the first of its kind in India. Through these 100 aircraft cleanings, AISATS has contributed to significant CO2 emissions reduction and water conservation for Vistara. This milestone emphasizes AISATS's commitment to innovative airport services and sets a new industry standard for aircraft exterior cleaning in India.

AeroWash utilizes advanced robotic technology to ensure precise and efficient exterior cleaning while upholding the highest safety standards for both the aircraft and the equipment operators. This system minimizes water usage, resulting in reduced aerodynamic drag on aircraft and lower fuel consumption, subsequently decreasing CO2 emissions for airlines.
