Special features of the organization

Pavani Institute for Multiple Handicapped & Spastics PIMHANS was registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and is running a Special School for Mentally Retarded and Hearing Impaired Children, who are a neglected with a view to rehabilitate them in the main stream of society. The Special education for the MR children is based on category and degree of retardation, while the education for the HI children in accordance with the syllabus prescribed for Higher Elementary Schools by the State Government.
