Needs was established as a non government Organization and nonprofit voluntary organization in the year 1987 and registered under societies Act XXI of 1860 in 1988-89 with specific purpose of initiating various welfare activities for empowerment and upliftment of the local people and other socio economic development activities in the Madhupur as well as some other places such as Rupahi Bhakatgaon under Nagaon district.
