Special features of the organization
The activities Performed by Keshab Smarak Sanskriti Surabhi are as follows : , The Samiti is Conducting regular Allopathic Medical Camps in different places of Barak Valley. Free medicines are also proving to the patients. A Mobile Medical Van is launched by the Samiti to bring doctors at the remote corner of the region and to cater the needs of the poor people for getting better health services. This Samiti celebrated Vishwa Yoga Divas with full zeal & enthusiasm. The two day Yoga Divas was inaugurated in G.C. College Auditorium, Silchar by the Honorable Governor of Assam, Shri P.B. Acharya on 20th June 2015. To eradicate Diabetes, a Programme was taken for 7 days in Silchar. Sri Sumanta Chandwarkar, a famous Yoga Teacher from Maharastra taught the technique of Yoga to the participants in the camp which started on 22nd June, 2015. About 200 members were present in the function & 61 No. of Patients attended the Camp To Provide medical assistance to the residents of remote areas, Keshab Smarak Sanskriti Surabhi had Launched Dhanwantari Seva Yatra Progamme in Barak Valley in the month of May 2015 & February 2016 respectively. A Joint programme of Seva Bharati Purbanchal & National Medical Organization, A total of 15 doctors of NMO came from across India to provide Medical Treatment to the Patients of Rural Area in Barak Valley & Mizoram. The No. of Camps were about 20 & Patients were about 4000. Besides giving Treatment, Medicines were distributed amongst the patients free of cost. 3 numbers of Computer Training centre are running by the samity at 3 differnt places. On 20th June 2015, the Honorable Governor of Assam Inaugurated Gramin Computer Training Centre under patronage of Surabhi. Training Centre for Sewing machine for ladies are running at 4 centres in Assam and Mizoram. House building materials and blankets as well as mosquito nets were provided to the victims of different natural calamities Surabhi Databbya Homoeo Treatment Centre is giving its service in Kalibari Char area of Silchar. Every Friday, Dr. Subhadip Kar renders free Service to the residents of that area through checkup & distributing Medicines free of cost. This Yojna is presently running in Assam, Tripura and Mizoram states in 754 centres running by 1384 Arogya Mitras. They are acting as rural health worker aiming to serve rural population. Surabhi Tabla School in running in Surabhi Karalaya under the Patronage of Surabhi Kalakendra. Every Sunday Sri Subhrajit Kar (Executive Member, K.S.S.S) imparts training to students free of cost. A Surabhi Yoga Center is successfully going on in Narshingpur at Cachar. Besides Yoga camps are organised at different locations of Assam and Tripura. On 21st Feb, 2016 a programme on Corneal Blindness Free India & Eye Donation was jointly organized by us & Barak Netradaan Sankalp Abhiyan Samiti under the initiative of SAKSHAM.
