Special features of the organization

Dr. Ambedkar Mission is a premier Non- Governmental organization of North Eastern Region of India. It was established in the year 1994-95 at a small village namely Dhopatari P.O- Changsari, Kamrup district of Assam with two Branch Offices (i) Vill. Upahupara ( Industrial Chowk) Dist. Darrang ( Assam ) and (ii) Vill. Umroi, P.o. Borapani, Ri- Bhoi district of Meghalaya. It caters its services on several sectors like Health,Education,Women Empowerment,Rural Development,Handicraft,Biotectnology,Vocational Training, Pottery training,Child labour ,Aged etc. , Its main objective is to empower the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Physically Handicapped people and Aged people with educational and Vocational employment.It renders its services to ensure the quality of life of the most backward section of the society so that they can see the best way of life.
