Special features of the organization

EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES , , All the students of the special school benefit from the school activities mainly in the areas of the personal skills such as in eating , dressing ,grooming ,toileting ,etc ; in academic skills they are given stress on concept formation such as alphabets, numbers ,time, money, measurement ,colors, size ,shapes, site word reading ,writing simple additions, etc .. ;in occupational skills they are taught the simple house hold duties such as gardening, sweeping, dusting, cooking, and pre vocational skills including preparing phenol, candle, garlands, stitching and embroideries etc. .. In recreational skills they are given training in both indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, foot ball, ring tennis, bat Minton, skipping, caroms board, etc An hour of physical education and physiotherapy is also the part of the programme. , , CELEBRATION , Teacher s day, children s day, and other important days were celebrated in the school adding color to the day. On the occasion of children day students were taken for an outing to a nearby garden. Christmas, Sankaranthi, Ramsan etc were celebrated in a fitting manner. , VISIT OF THE DIGNITERIES , On 22nd October the assistant director along with the superintend visited the school for the inspection of the school , , WORLD DISABLED DAY , , On 3rd December 10 students from the school participated in the district and 45 of them in Mandal level disabled day programme. Students participated in the competition conducted in the both Mandal and district level some of them were awarded prizes. , , , NATIONAL IMPORTANCE , , Independence Day and Republic day were observed in the School , , MEDICAL CHECKUP , , Frequent medical checkup of the children are conducted which helped to improve their health condition keep intact. , , PARENTS MEETING , , The parents meeting were held every three months. , , AWARENESS PROGRAMME , , Staff continuously under takes the counseling of parents of MR children by visiting their houses and by carrying out C.B.R. programme. , , , , , MAIN ACHIVEMENTS , , All students coming to the school have improved, most of the students are able to eat their meals & dress their cloth by themselves, few have learnt to make garland, cross stitch embroidery and some are capable of making phenol 7 students are able to make candle by themselves.
