YUVA YOUTH FOR UNITY AND VOLUNTARY ACTION

YUVworkstowards the human rights paradigm forming the underlying philosophy of the organisation; and focuses on three different areas Poverty, Environment and Governance. , Poverty is seen as a violation of human rights and is multidimensional caused by a number of interlinked factors and hence must be addressed in a holistic and integrated manner. , The concept of environment includes both the natural environment and human/social environment. This theme focuses on issues of quality, equity and sustainability in relation to the development and management of natural resources and the quality of human life. , Work on governance centres around facilitation of the democratisation of power and decentralised access to and management of public resources.
