This institution is also trying to renew and revitalize the age old Prasangas which are really the texts of stories being played by the Yakshagana troupes and the students here are being trained to memorize these stories and Prasangas and perform the same. In this background Yakshagana Kalakendra of Hangarkatta has conducted Chandassu Training Camps( training people on the specialized rhythm and steps and style of singing in Yakshagana) Raga Tala training camp for the Bhagavathas i.e. the singer
