Institution Based Rehabilitation (IBR). We provide rehabilitation to various categories of people through our institutions. , Psycho-social Rehabilitation Center , Home for Physically and Mentally Challenged Children , Special School for Mentally Challenged Children , Care home for boys and girls , Home for unwed and abandoned mothers and children , Home for the aged , SEARCH (Special Education and Rehabilitation Care Homes) , SEARCH is a program for institution based rehabilitation (IBR) and there are 61 IBR centers under the program. , Personality development training , Counseling , Care givers training programs , Community Based Rehabilitation , Be Able , The program envisages helping the persons with disability (PWDs) to enjoy the benefits of various government and non government policies, schemes and programs for their welfare. The project is implemented through , Researches and surveys , Self- Empowerment Programs , Special meetings , Advocacy and Networking , Forming Self Help Groups (SHGs) , STEP (Students Training and Education Program) , In 2008 the centre has initiated unique education project called STEP (Students Training and Education Programme) to provide students opportunity to attend the best universities in the country. We have been helping 381 students since its beginning through this programme. , CAN (Palliative Care Program) , Care and Near program originated in the year 2011 and has been providing care and services to 350 bedridden patients. The home palliative care encompasses Training for Volunteers, Formulation of Home Care Units by regions, Case study and Regular home visit. , Independent Projects , Housing Project , The project runs with the contribution of cash, material and arranging voluntary labor by local people named Karmasena. So far, we have constructed 550 houses under various schemes. , NANMA , NANMA is a project offering medical support to poor people. The program is supporting 20 regular patients through financial help for medicine and 50. , AXSHYA Project , The centre is as partner NGO in Kottayam District as part of the recently announced Global Fund Round 9 Axshya TB Project by RNTCP (Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme) and CHAI (Catholic Health Association India). , CHILDLINE , CHILDLINE India Foundation (CIF) has appointed WE CARE as the Support Organization for CHILDLINE in Kottayam district in 2011.
