The Vedanta Institute Delhi is a public charitable educational trust founded in 2002. Vedanta is the ancient philosophy of India which expounds the higher values of life in a systematic and scientific manner. This knowledge inculcates dynamic action, develops feelings of universal love and kindness, and clarity of thought. Thereafter one can face the challenges of life, overcome social evils and become an ideal citizen fulfilling one s obligations at the level of the family, community, society and nation. Furthermore one experiences a life of peace and productivity. , , The Institute is dedicated the research, study and propagation of Indian culture through education of higher values of life. The main objective of the Institute is to educate humanity on this knowledge through various avenues such as lectures, discussion groups and full-time residential courses. All activities of the Institute are open to all irrespective of sex, class, caste, community or religion. , , Since its inception in 2002, the Institute has organised annual lecture series in NCT region to propagate this knowledge to diverse public audiences. It has also been running weekly study classes in to provide individuals an opportunity to meet regularly to learn, clarify, discuss and share the knowledge in a scientific and liberal spirit.
