Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Welfare Society

The aim of the society is to help and provide care to the underprivileged children at present there are more than 600 children who are getting education and day meal in center and associated schools Till date more than 13000 underprivileged children have been benefited under the purview of the society for the last two and half decades Our main aim is to give such children an opportunity for participation in the educational system of the country With out 27 years experience of work in the slums of Jammu city we will be able to divert children from begging and child labour to formal education through non formal educational bridge education We provide vocational trainings and counselling of the parents of the children Working without any assistance from any Government we are proud of some of the children who have been diverted from beggary child labour and balloon sellers to get formal education in the mainstream of education system of the country
