PROGRAMING / ACTIVITIES Under , the financial assistance of Govt. of , Odisha the organization has been , able to run welfare programmes/ , activities like special school for , poor Handicapped Children (Blind , & Deaf) at Bharatpur, Khandagiri, , Bhubaneswar by the cooperation , of members & dedicated workers , of the organization he UHMOEndeavour to extend its service , for the welfare o the present aged , disabled. The special namely Louis , Braile School for the Blind and , Rajdhani School for the Deaf , through recognized by the Govt. , of Odisha in women & Child , Development Department are , residential school. The present , strength of students are 109 (pre , class to class X) & deaf students , are 104 (pre 1 to class X) besides , schooling the students are , provided hostel facilities , recreation, vocational education & , sports facilities etc. The , organization has been able to run , welfare program/ activities like , Old Age Home/ Integrated , Program for Older person Utkal , handicapped welfare organization , conducted a survey on the , handicapped people & inmates like , V.I.H.I.M.R & PREINMATES (H.I) to , know their problems. The survey , was followed by the various , programmes focusing the , attention of the Govt. agencies , provide rehabilitation of the , handicapped people living below , the poverty line. UHWO firmly , believes that women s , development is a vita factor for , the creation of health society and , it has also taken a major step for , development of women in rural , area, women s development , programmes covered both , education and income a , generation schemes. During last , year UHWO organized an adult , education programmes in its , operational are many rural women , received benefits of the , programme. An of them are now , able to read and write. The SC & , ST people are less conscious for , their due to ignorance literacy and , poverty like previous years. We , have organized health check up , camps to provide them health , check up camps to provide them , health services and medicine was , distributed to them. UHWO , organized started & games , programme for school students in , the age group of 714 , years. Total , 122 Nos of students are , participate in this programme and , the qualifier awarded by UHWO. , Sharing to the Govt. objects to , achieve health or all by 2013 AD , Programme on family welfare, , medical checkup of pregnant , mother and children, family , planning etc have been under , taken by UHWO which can be well , adjudicated as places point to the , general activities of UHWO, where , in the programme covered in 3nos , of village of Khurda Block district , by UHWO by the assistance of , public donation.
