United Social Welfare Association (USWA) Belgaum, a secular, non profit, non political, voluntary organization was established in 1992 registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 on 12th August 1998 , Reg. No. DR / SOR / 49 / 1992-93. , , United Social Welfare Association is a Non Government Voluntary Social Service & Development Organization working with vulnerable, rural poor people by organizing and involving them in their development activities. Rural poor artisans in the field of Integrated Rural Development, in the most backward and interior, drought affected villages. , , The range of programmes implemented is People s Participation and Community Development activities in STEP, SJSY, and Nagara Streeshakthi Project. It is also implementing Awareness Generation Programmes on Women Development, Income Generation Programme, Gender discrimination, Credit Management, Capacity Building, Legal Rights awareness, Mobile Health Clinic and Health Sanitation and Hygiene Education, Educational & Socio-economic activities. , , The organization has under taken its all activities by following Participatory Methodology for promotion of People s Participation, Development of Social, Economical, Educational, Environmental, Cultural & Health Sector, for Their Self reliance and sustainability. By adopting this methodology it has found its great success in every activity.
