Tirumala Education and Social Welfare Society

A voluntary organization with head office at Bijapur is serving the under privileged section of the community in northern part of Karnataka since 1995. It is registered under Societies Registration act of 1860 bearing registration number of SOR.213/95-9. It is founded by a team of young professionals having technical qualification with the aim to empower poor people with resource and skill oriented activities. Today, it is successful in planning and implementing several pro-poor projects funded by various national and international organizations. The projects handled by the organizations are diverse in nature ranging from agriculture to fashion technology, animal husbandry to computer training to minority communities. The organization has the experience of handling several projects funded by various organizations like NORAD, DBT, DST, CAPART etc. The number of projects handled the nature of the projects and the budget sanctioned would positively reflect on the capability of the organization. The success of the projects is attributed to the organisation s capability to design need based projects coupled with meticulous planning and execution by involving target groups from the very beginning of the project cycle. Due to its commitment to the cause for which it has been established, the organization is perceived as highly reputed organizations not only by the donors but also by the rural people for whom it strives.
