TAC an amateur theatre group founded in 1943 is credited with having established the culture of drama in Delhi It works for the promotion of art and culture through the media of dance drama music and other art forms Before its revival TAC enthralled and entertained its audiences for four decades 1943 to1983 Former Presidents Prime Ministers and other luminaries graced its plays The club also has the distinction of being the first ones to give platform to women on Delhi stage TAC was revived in 2008 on the 25th death anniversary of its founder R M Kaul Since its revival TAC has kept up its promise of an anniversary celebrations each year It also proposes to extend its activities to educational institutes with the aim pf promoting histrionics skills among the new generation and provide platform to amateur artists
