Special features of the organization

The Organisation has implemented 6 (six) batches of 15 Days Design and Technical Development Workshop were conducted at Wangoo Cluster, and 2 batch of Skill Upgradation Training Programme Artistic Textile and Embroidery at Wangoo Cluster under AHVY Scheme sponsored by O/o the Development Commissioner Handicrafts, New Delhi. The organisation is running a Short Stay Home at Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak Manung with the sponsorship of the Central Social Welfare Board, Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi for destitute women/girls. In this home 30 destitute women/girls and 10 children are being provided shelter and rehabilitation. About 200 Handloom weavers are being trained with skill up gradation, marketing, management, etc, a Handloom Development Project under the Cluster Development Programme (CDP) at Moidangpok, Imphal West District, Manipur under the sponsorship of NABARD. The Women s Worth Organisation had conducted one day Awareness Programme on Handloom Cluster at Moidangpok, Imphal on 28th February 2009 under CDP sponsored by NABARD. Mr. P. Bulte, Manager NABARD. The Women s Worth Organisation had organized an Exhibition cum sale Ningthibee Collections from 5th October 2009 to 20th November 2009 at the premises of the organisation in which 20 other firms/organizations/SHGs had participated. The Organisation is also implementing Support to Training and Employment generation Programme (STEP) under the Sponsorship of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi.The Organisation has conducted 6 months Integrated Design & Technical Development Project at Moidangpok, Imphal West sponsored by O/o the Development Commissioner Handicrafts, New Delhi
