Special features of the organization

Since its establishment in 1990, the Collective has developed a strong presence in the area. It has a highly competent team mostly drawn from the local area and has successfully demonstrated different models in sustainable rural development. The Collective s main operational strategy is the establishment and creation of independent people s organisations [Cooperatives] among different target stakeholders. Till date, the Collective has established and promoted 13 Cooperatives encompassing the broad spectrum of its programme priorities.
