ABOUT THE GROUP , The Raising Society of Art and Culture , Bhopal (M.P.) , The Raising society of art & culture is a Bhopal based theatre group, comprising mainly of the National School of Drama (NSD), Film and television institute of India (F.T.I.I.) graduates. Most of the members of group are trained & senior professional from professional repertories like N.S.D. rep. co. and Sri ram center rep. co. (New Delhi). , It is a platform for young actor s who believe that theatre is , a practicing art form and provides a space for those who , are passionately attached to theatre. Its aim is to continually challenge itself and to push the boundaries of its creative , aspirations. , , The company has been active in Bhopal since 2002. Their first production was a Hindi adaptation of Premanand gazbi TARPN 16th. Jan 2001. the company produced VASANSI JIRNANI , BAKI - ITIHAS., GUARD SAHAB KE DAIR, MANTOO BA-KALAM-KHUD, around 21 solo play s , many , Poetries, stories etc. , , The idea of the group is not produce an actor but a complete theater person. the raising society of art and culture s production so far have received a warm response from the city as well as in reputed theater festival such as jash-ne-bachpan(Tie- National School of Drama),2009.
