The Nabha Foundation

The Nabha Foundation has been established in response to a felt need for a holistic pattern of development in Punjab. It seeks to bring together multiple stakeholders, the state and union governments, national and international development agencies, academic and research institutions and above all, the people on the ground, to engage in a creative dynamic of action. The Foundation takes up issues of integrated and sustainable rural development, infrastructure up gradation and heritage conservation in Nabha, Punjab. , , The target audience of the Foundation s work is the general population of the Nabha block, and especially women, children and the marginalized groups and individuals. , , Vision: An equitable, prosperous and humane society embodying the principles of holistic and sustainable development inspired by traditions of community and civic leadership. , , Mission: The Nabha Foundation promotes innovative rural development models for the prosperity, development and well being of the people of Nabha and its surrounding areas in Punjab. It is our hope that people in India and across the world can benefit from these models.
