The Humane and Social Welfare Association Imphal (INDIA) was registered as non-governmental government organisation having no affiliation to ant political party, caste or creed and registered in the year 1990. The HASWA has been actively involved in the field of socio economic development in the field of poor people as well as to promote financial support and to developed self help groups, joint liabilities groups and individual level for economic upliftment of rural and urban poor people, physically and socio-economically handicap specially focus attention on groups as well as individuals which are disadvantageously placed in society to support the urban and rural people specially Tribes Schedule Cast women, Cents, and Youth for their economic self sustenance. HASWA is to be recognized among the best development agency in social change and human development where ever HASWA goes and work our people shall work with Integrity, Transparency, Upholding Social values of course good quality of service that will ultimately benefited the end user community, HASWA objectively aims to improved the livelihood situation and circumstance of the poor or otherwise under previlaged rural and urban poor through participatory development approach. The main objective of HASWA are to improve the peace and livelihood situations and circumstances of life of the rural, urban, semi urban unorganized sector and slums dwellers who are victims of poverty. Focus on the above targets groups for economics self-sustenance, create, develop and support self employments avenues for these target groups. Builds social capitals that will be used by the communities and for the communities, and use all the available natural, social, economic and other resources for the well being of the communities.
