Three decades ago a seed was sown, which has yielded its fruits for benevolence of philanthropy and has spread its roots within jurisdiction of Gwalior including rural areas in its vicinity, since inception on 24-11-1985.Now about 50 patients go under eye operation every Sunday. Till date eye-operations of more than 40,000 patients have bee performed successfully by renowned ophthalmologists, Six persons have donated their eyes which have been planted and bestowed sight in blind persons.
