Stage India Performing Arts and Research Centre , Stage India was officially created in 1998.Our mission is to create extraordinary theatre that inspires and entertain our audience and to provide outstanding theatre training and performances that educates and awakens the imaginations of our youth.Our theatre lab provides a form of experimentations by professional, the development of new performance material, and the rediscovery of classics.The lab enables artists to explore new work and new ways of working- inorder to forge a deeper connection between actor and audience,self and community. Stage Indias artists are encouraged to move theatre forward- to transform deepen and clarify new ways of working. we create professional quality theatre for a vibrant and diverse population.We encourage and improve artistic growth in the community by producing a broad reportoire theatre,giving local theatre artists creative oppertunities and offering educational theatre and outreach programmes. we are commited to creating, teaching and learning about theatre that enlightens as well as entertains, that explores the values and ideas of many cultures and earas,and that contributes the artistic and personal groth of both participents and audience.We work to create a learning environment that is a model for the collaborative work of theatre and life.We draw upon the talent of the actors ,directors, writers and designers from around the country who are shapping the Indian Theatre scene.Stage India also offers a wide variety of educational ,community and litterary programmes design to enrich and deepen theatre knoledge.
