Sustainable Livelihood Program , Training Program on Terra-cotta funded Council for Advancement of People and Rural Technology (CAPART-A cell of Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India) , Supported by CAPART, Regional cell, Uttar Pradesh (North Zone) of Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India under ARTS scheme. , The program has been being implemented in 4 villages of Block-Chinahat, Uttar Pradesh, India. , The Project Title is The Enhancement in the Basic Skill of Terra cotta, its Diversification and Decoration , We started the program initially with 50 Beneficiaries. , Training Program on Embroidery (Handicraft) , The organization is working in 2 GPs of Bakshi-Ka-Talab, District-Lucknow and 1 GP of Block-Nindura, District-Barabanki with embroidery artisans to make them more competitive and sustainable. , SRIJANA is working with artisans to assist them in such a way that they become able establish their own unit which will provide self employment. , Women artisans are the main focus of our intervention. , We are doing continuous market research to assist our artisans to become more compatible to get better market accessibility. , , Natural Resource Management , NEAC Program (Climate Change, Household Composting, Plantation and Rural Energy) funded by Indian Environment Society (A Cell under Ministry of Environment and Forest) , Supported by Indian Environment Society (A Cell under Ministry of Environment and Forest). , NEAC program Organized in Baksi Ka Talab covering 4 GPs, Uttar Pradesh, India. , Climate Change, Household Composting, Plantation and Rural Energy have been the major theme of project intervention. , Mass awareness and technology demonstration have been one of our important activities. , Sustainable Scientific and Advanced Agriculture Technology Dissemination Program , The organization is working in 6 villages of 3 GPs of Block-Nindura, District-Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh, India. , The Farmers Technology Dissemination Groups have been established in the village for various techniques, training and demonstrations. , Small and Marginal Famers are the major target for project intervention. , To promote the eco-friendly sustainable agriculture with decreasing cost of cultivation and enhancing production etc are the main focus of our intervention. , Disaster Management Awareness Program , We are organizing camp, workshop, meeting in our operational area. , We started the Program by analyzing our aims and objectives to the community leader, Gram Pradhans, PRI members, CBOS to prepare the community to fight from these sudden changes being happen in our Environment. , Water Harvesting and Water Conservation Program , In order to mitigate the scarcity of water for both the purposes drinking and Irrigation the organization is working in the area of water conservation and water harvesting the organization is working in 2 GPs of Block-Sidhauli, Distirict-Sitapur and 3 GPs of Block-Nindura, District-Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh, India. , The training on techniques being imparted are based on improving the efficiency of water use, and by reducing its loss due to evaporation, we can reduce water demand. , Program on Alternative Energy Resources , SRIJANA is working on alternative energy like Biomass, Bio-gas Plant, Solar Power, cultivation of Bio-energy resources to mitigate the scarcity using local resources. , Community sensitization, Technology demonstration and Technology Dissemination are the main focus of our activities. , , Health Hygiene and Sanitation , Protection of Aids Awareness Program , We are rendering our services in the area of awareness generation about STDs/HIV/AIDS, Counseling for improving Couple Relationship, Condom Promotion and distribution of literature etc through One to One and One to Group, Audio visual shows, Street Plays, Panchayat Sensitization Program and various other methods. , SRIJANA has been implementing a comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention program through targeted interventions with the mobile population of truckers and their families CSWs, MSMs, the transgender population and young people. , Promotion of Naturopathy Yoga, Proper Nutrition and Revitalization of Tradition Health System Program , The organization is consistently working in the field Naturopathy, Yoga, Proper Nutrition & Revitalization of Traditional Health System at it registered office and in the operational area. , We are serving the community through organizing camp, workshop, counseling, audio-visual show and distributing literature. , Naturopathy is a system of therapy and treatment which relies exclusively on natural remedies, such as sunlight, air, water, supplemented with diet and therapies such as massage. , The one of the main objectives of our interventions is to strengthen the healing ability. , Family Planning and Reproductive Child Health Program , SRIJANA is working with community in its operational area to aware them about various method of contraception for a small, economically and socially sustainable family. , We are working with our community to develop better system of pre and post maternal care. , One of the major objectives of the intervention is to decrease the child mortality and abnormalities. , SRIJANA is mobilizing the community to become more sensitive towards the care of pregnant woman to get a healthy child. , Total Sanitation and Rural Hygiene Awareness Program , The organization is working in 2 GPs of Block-Chinhat, District-Lucknow and 2 GPs of Nindura, District-Barabanki on Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) . , SRIJANA emphasizes more on Information, Education and Communication (IEC), capacity development of community and awareness generation. , , Women and Child Welfare Program , Women Empowerment Program , SRIJANA has realized that no change can be brought in until we include women empowerment in our every program. , Women have been major beneficiaries of our interventions those who are disadvantaged, marginalized and in difficult circumstances. , The organization is rendering its services through camps, workshop and training programs. , SRIJANA mobilizing the women community in order to become aware about their rights, economically and socially viable. , Integrated Program for Street and Working Children , SRIJANA are working with the children having no homes and family ties, Children living in slums, children of sex workers and children of pavement dwellers. , We support these children for providing shelter, nutrition, health care, sanitation and hygiene, safe drinking water, education and recreational facilities and protection against abuse and exploitation. , , Other Program Interventions , Integrated Development Program
