Through the Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme multi specialty health care is provided to patients below the poverty line. The scheme provides coverage for treatment of diseases of heart, lung, liver, bowel, pancreas, kidney, neurosurgery, pediatric congenital malformations, burns, post-burn contracture surgeries for functional improvement, prosthesis (artificial limbs), cancer treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy) and polytrauma (including cases covered under MV act).
